Need You 100% is a group show curated by point zero at Display Gallery in Holborn Viaduct which is on until the 2nd June. I am exhibiting some of my latest paintings here, the Gallery is open Mon-Friday from 12-6pm. There is also a LATE NIGHT OPENING on Thursday 15th for anyone who missed the private view.

Need You 100% brings together a selection of contemporary artists working in London and internationally, in a range of formats. The title of the exhibition, culled from a search result, does serve to illustrate artists interdependency on YouTube, Google, digital platforms and new media outputs.

On the other hand, this phenomenon has also influenced some artists back into the traditional world of materials and process. Working paradoxically at times, with new-fashioned methods and a growing reverence of historical modernist work via the web. Whether they are post-internet practitioners or not, we can see in the work of this group a new generation of convenience, where references are transmitted and gathered very quickly and thus become either a key factor, or a non-issue.

With works that exhibit a varietal approach to materials, and anything from a pronounced simplicity to a multiplicity of obscure implications, Need You 100% offers a direct glimmer into the art of today.
